Below are several pages depicting Diana Feygelson’s thesis project at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago. After physical production of designed objects was interrupted by the pandemic, SAIC graduate students instead showcased their work in the pages of a book published by the university.
Diana’s work was produced in response to the TSA’s security theater. Through the design of travel gear, her project aims to offer travelers some protection from the TSA and its invasive measures, while highlighting their absurdity.
